JKC won the first prize in the Essay Competition organised by the Equal Opportunity Commission on the occasion of the Equal Opportunities Day 2013. Congratulations to the participants: Bhatoo, Dooreemeah, Woodun and Jahally.
The school magazine was launched in July 2013 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the school. The Hon. Minister of Education, Dr. Bunwaree, was the guest of honour on this occasion.
